Retailers and Suppliers Enjoy Lincoln Hospitality

THE inaugural and hugely successful Lincoln JumpCross Eventer’s Challenge saw nearly 200 retailers and suppliers enjoying a day in the sunshine, watching the country’s leading event riders in action thanks to Battles and the Lincoln brand.

Held at Grange Farm, Wittering the JumpCross headquarters, more than 30 of the country’s top riders competed in this two round competition against the clock over a course which included water causeways, banks and ditches.

Sponsorship from Lincoln, well known for their range of horse, health and leather care products, saw this exciting new fixture on the calendar provide riders with the chance of winning a share of a £5,000 prize fund.

And a delighted Angus Smales, went home £2,500 richer thanks to his brilliant effort over the two rounds on the talented, It’s A Jackpot owned by Patti Bulman.  Second place went to Clayton Fredericks with Mark Kyle taking third.

Battles Equine Commercial Manager Anna Clarke said: “We had a brilliant day, the sun shone, the riders provided some top class competition over Robin Dunlop’s innovative JumpCross course and we received some wonderful feedback from our guests who thoroughly enjoyed the day.”

Both riders and VIP guests all received fantastic goody bags thanks to supporting sponsors Equest, Jumpstack, 3M Vetrap, Pfizer, LeMieux, Keratex, KITT, Uncle Jimmy’s, Formula4Feet, Intervet, Virbac, Ragtime and Barrier as well as other brands from Battles including Hy, Companion, Alto Lab, Super Codlivine and Wendals Herbs in Lincoln branded Hessian bags.
